God is indeed my Provider

i need 200 ringgit for the missions trip but i was quite tight financially cos i didnt plan to go for this trip initially thus didnt budget for it. Didnt want to ask my mom also becos she paid for my South Africa trip and i think at this age, its a "no no" to ask parents for money. Then 2 days ago, my mom just out of the blue said "I've left 200 ringgit on your table, you can use it for your trip". Goodness!! I was stunned for the moment. Firstly i didnt even mention that i need the money. Secondly, it was the exact amount that i need. Most importantly she gave to me willingly and i didnt have to ask..hahaaaa..

then i need a haversack for the trip. asked around but no one responded so in the end i decided to buy it last night. Before i went with pris to buy, one church staff, dasmond msned me to ask if he could use my scanner. So while waiting for him to scan, he asked us what we are buying. Then he said "why didnt ask me"!! yeah.. he is lending me his haversack...heheee... i saved $ on this! Yeah!

come to this of it, God has always provided for me... seriously i was never in lack. I remembered that time when i needed $ to go SA, God also provided me. I cant think of a situation when i needed something and God didnt provide. Its true if GOd provides for the birds and clothed the flowers how much more important we are to him. He will take care of me :)
So those who do not have $ for the camp, i want to encourage you to pray and do ur best in saving up. God will do the rest.

The Twin's 9th birthday
This is a children's party with no children except the birthday boy and girl ;)

I am getting really clumsy nowadays... is this the October breeze or the "spirit" of the thunder crab came upon me?

Yesterday while crossing the road and eating my mouth-watering ice cream, I slipped and fell. There were quite a number of pedestrians and I could hear their synchronised "aaahhhh". As I fell, I even kicked off one lady's sandals. At least my previous $2.80 ice cream was still in tact. My colleague was stunned and she tried to help me up. In the end, I asked her to hold my ice cream instead. Did I mention that Priscilla Tan was there as well? This woman, she was laughing at my misfortune and not helping me! What a friend!

Another day, I went to gym with shirls and we were running on the track mile. You can hear the consistent sound of our footsteps. As I was running, I became mis-focused and distracted (no.. there isn’t any muscular & gorgeous guy around) I missed my steps and as I was about to fall, I grabbed for the side handles and I tell you...I made so much noise!! From the sound of the consistent footstep to the loud "thumps". I could hear shirls gasped and from the reflection of the window, I could see all the people turning and looking at me.

Then not long ago, in the office I learnt a previous lesson. Never curse your pastor! I was at Shirls and Pris workstations and happily teasing Shirls and threatening to run away with her money. Without my knowledge, the cleaning auntie has "schemingly" placed a pail of the soap water at the corner of their workstation. Still teasing Shirls, I turned quickly and tripped over the pail of water. There was such a loud "bomp" as I kicked on to the pail. It sounded like an earthquake. I ended up sprawling on the floor with the spilled soap water...Everyone just ran out from their workstation and what a sight it must have been!

I fell 3 times just this month!
My butt hurts after landing on them so abruptly and so does my ego :(

these fews weeks have been rather fast paced for me.. seems like there are many things need to be done and many things yet undone but i am very thankful to God. My heart is filled with so much excitement as to what God is going to do in my life. Its bursting with excitement and joy. What a privilege it is to know God and to live with such a compelling purpose :) *dance around* its so exccciiitiinggg!! oh God, dun pass me by. if you can use anyone, you can use me. make my life count!
