i really wanna change my blog skin.. it looks -_-

i must say Christian walk is not a bed of roses esp when you wanna attempt great things for God. There will be trials and testings. I dun think the devil will relax and let u do what you want. But I believe our outlook/perspective is very important. Its not the stituation that makes us. We can either be defeated by it or to rise up upon it. Its not easy but I can choose not to be discouraged. I can choose not to self pity. I can choose not to look to myself but to look to Him :) Blessings and good times are good but Testings/trials are even better as it will make a better me :) so cheer up when times are tough or not going your way. Rejoice!

I wanna learnt from Paul. What godly attitude he had, no wonder God blessed him greatly!

2 Corinthians 11:23-31
"Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my own countrymen, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false brothers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn? If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness."

Phil 4:4 " Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"
Paul wrote this while he was imprisoned! Becos our focus is on God, we can rejoice no matter what comes our way. Rejoicing in him is a decision.

ditat deus: "who do you think i am?"

ditat deus turn out to be my ex-girl schoolmate.... hahahahaaaa

it was a gal's nite out and unbelievable considering the amount of walking we did. We couldnt decide where to eat. So we walked from city hall to esplanade and realised that the resturants were crowded and expensive. So we walked from esplanade to marina square. nothing much. one of the cafe were lited with hearts ballons and couples everywhere. we decided to go breeks and its closed. so we walked to suntec, again couldnt decide what to eat. Went to Kenny Rodgers and it was a long queue. Its already 9pm then!! We walked around again surfing for food. Finally decided on fish and Co. Waited again. Finally, got seated! What a feat! And guess what, they only have valentine's menue. Its costly and Pris cant eat seafood! So we moved again.... and went back to Kenny Rodgers!!! When we went in, the waitor told us that they ran out of chicken and ribs. Fancy, Kenny Rodgers having no chicken? Can you imagine fish and co having no fish? in the end we settled for the side dishes. Oh no, the adventure didnt end here.

We wanted to play cards but it closed at 10.30pm so we were asked to leave. So we walk again. Looking for a place to settle to play cards. We then walked to the Pacific Cafe. Finally got a place and ready to buy drinks. And we were told that the cafe will be closing in 5 mins time -_- And guess what? We walked again. This time to Esplanade. We figured out that the outdoor cafe will close late thus we went to one of them. After finding a good seat, shirls went to ask for the menu for drinks. And we were informed that its closed!!

Phew... but thank God they didnt keep their tables and chairs. We bought cheap drinks frm the stall and played our bridge and dia dee ;) Pris was very "high" yesterday, entertaining us thru the nite. Really suspect that she was on drugs...hahhahahaa

But i must say that its a memorable nite. We enjoyed ourselves , lots of fun, laughter, sharing and .... walking. I thank God for these friendships.

I LOVE MY CG :)
