A kindergarten teacher has decided to let her class play a game. The teacher told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag containing a few potatoes. Each potato will be given a name of a person that the child hates, so the number of potatoes that a child will put in his/her plastic bag will depend on the number of people he/she hates.

So when the day came, every child brought some potatoes with the name of the people he/she hated. Some had 2 potatoes; some 3 while some up to 5 potatoes. The teacher then told the children to carry with them the potatoes in the plastic bag wherever they go (even to the toilet) for 1 week.

Days after days passed by, and the children started to complain due to the unpleasant smell let out by the rotten potatoes. Besides, those having 5 potatoes also had to carry heavier bags. After 1 week, the children were relieved because the game had finally ended....

The teacher asked: "How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you for 1 week?". The children let out their frustrations and started complaining of the trouble that they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they go.

Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game. The teacher said: "This is exactly the situation when you carry your hatred for somebody inside your heart. The stench of hatred will contaminate your heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go. If you cannot tolerate the smell of rotten potatoes for just 1 week, can you imagine what is it like to have the stench of hatred in your heart for your lifetime???"

Moral of the story:
Throw away any hatred for anyone from your heart so that you will not carry sins for a lifetime. Forgiving others is the best attitude to take! Love others even if you don't like them.
True love is not loving a perfect person but loving an imperfect person perfectly.

You know something,
on Sat DMM, we said that we want to hit 100 for CG and SS.
Last week, we broke 100 for both CG & SS!!
NE will officially be a District after 3 consecutive weeks of breaking 100!!
lets "jia you" for Jesus!

Thank you for giving your best to jesus and your never say die spirit.
Indeed, this is just the begining.

Hi leaders,

Welcome to a new week of living for Jesus. Its exciting to live purposeful and meaningful lives,

The above numbers is how we did last weekend. Special mention must be made for North-East and Poly/DI. NE had broken the 100 mark for both SS & CG. We will be having a full-fledge district in the NE very soon. For Poly/DI, we broke 160 for both SS & CG. Praise God. Since the beginning of the focused service, we had seen growth in both the 1st & 2nd SS. It was indeed a God-honouring and God-inspired growth point in the ministry.

We had broken the 700 mark and we are marching towards the 800 mark. By the grace of God, we will certainly smash the 800 mark by the end of Jan 2005. Allow to say it again, we want to overflow in our 1st SS (and thus start the 3rd SS). For the 2nd SS, we want to fill it up to al least half the capacity. With and for God, we can certainly do it!!

For this Saturday, let's go really really high for our ESS. The theme is about Joy and Fun! We can expect a really fun atmosphere on this weekend. Let's give it our best shot before we relax and let our hair down in the camp!

There's Brad pit!!

had 2 stayovers in the past few days
and my bones are aching now
went to wynnie's hse on Sat
then stayed over with the Thai sisters yesterday

it's great to share lives together
to see how pple live, their culture, habits and so on.
its funny, though we dun know each other, we can speak the same "language"
you know what i mean?

though we are from diff countries but we can just click.
i m just so thankful to God for Hope.
last night, we were sharing abt dreams.
Vicky shared abt her vision of international youth conference and she is going to Seattle soon to study and church planting.
then Ju who is leading an international student group now, she wants to start a youth band and she has a vision of seeing herself lead numerous pple to worshipping God.
Joy who is involved in the impact ministry wants to do a few mega videos for outreach which can be used all over Thailand.
Bang(haha.. not sure of spelling)wants to start a business to support the full time staff in her region.

i am so glad to see so many pple frm diff parts of the world being so passionate of Christ. But how can we not?

i mean, God is REAL

i meant He is GREAT!
God is FAITHFUL
God is POWERFUL
God is ABLE

And He LOVE US
and the list can go on

How time flies!

i am back from bbk camp. it as a refreshing time for me. Thru this trip, i got to know myself. i thought that i can "do nothing" in this trip and i intend to. with no sheep around, no phone, no emails ... But who knows, my anxious nature just took over. i seems to assign myself to be the tour guide in my team. Constantly reminding them of the limited time we have and to rush for the coach and to the hotel and to rush this and that. Haiz... cant i just take it easy? Well.. i guess, thats me.

And i am just so "awed" by God.
i am so touched by the spirit of pple over there as well as the presence of God. The international delegates got to seat on the second level of the auditorium in which you will have a bird's eye view of the entire auditorium. its just so amazing when 5000 over people just come together to celebrate God's pressence. Its like a sea of people. Moreover this is the second camp cos the place is too small thus they got to have 2 camps. God just reminded me that He is faithful to his promise. This picture just captivates my heart. If God can do it there, He can do it HERE! I believe Lord!!

also i teared numerous times in the camp and i believe those who went with me did too =)
there was one night in which Ps PN prayed for those who are terminally sicked. There was a girl who was brought to be prayed by him. Oh man, she is so young. She is about 4 years old. When he saw her, he just hugged her and started to cry. You can feel his compassion for her.

He prayed, " Lord, please give her a second chance. She is still so young."
After he prayed for her, he said, " This is my family. Your child is my child."
i believe no one's eyes is dry then.

Then there was this affirmation night in which the pastors affirmed ps PN. it just touches my heart the things they share.

these are just simple men. But when die to self, Christ has used them powerfully to touch and transformed lives.

Lord, as you have blessed and use them so powerfully, use me. Help me be a clean vessel. With all my heart to you "You are worth it!"
