my uncle just got converted! He was resistant to Christ for God knows how long... and finally!

The spiritual atmosphere in my extended family has changed. We actually said grace together during my grandpa's birthday celebration. Simply unheard of... my auntie was the first Christian in my family sixteen years ago.. things have not been easy for her but 16 years down the road.. i've seen the fruits of her labour... God is indeed faithful. If you dare to trust in Him, He will bring His promises to pass.

We have seen many lower sec new believers in West. I remembered that for the past few months, we have been talking about this... 80% of the Westlanders are upper sec... an aging population indeed :P But last Sunday in our WA meet, after calculation, we now have 69% of lower sec people. Wow! How cool that is!

For just 2 months, we have connected 20 new people in our CG! The highest number of retension and conversion we have seen in west :)

So many happenings for the past few weeks...

first stop.. thailand!

It was shopping for the first 2 days followed by Thai camp. I didnt realised that i was such a bad shopper until now... find it so hard to buy things -_-" the gals will usually come back shopping with bags of goodies and it left me wondering if we have gone to the same place. Feeling the need to buy gifts back, just in case there is no time, i bought some necklaces and hand accessories in a haste. Sorry man.. if you dun like the gift... i have learnt my lesson! I shall either hire a personal shopper the next time or come out with a shopping list and no more conforming to shopping pressures :)

next stop .. hope filled camp
hope = desire+faith+ long waiting

learnt much, refreshed and time to apply. I am also reminded that renewal dont just take place during camps... it can happen in my everyday lives.. think abt it what's the diff? i think many a times its our expectations... we expect God to speak thus we hear his voice.. "seek and you will find"... thus if we have this attitude of expectancy in our daily walk with God, to hear His voice, everyday will be camp and everyday can be heaven :)
